Even though theres a huge buzz around the artist, I'm a huge fan of Drake. I shamelessly listen to his music daily. With that being said, you can only imagine how much I've been anticipating his debut album "Thank Me Later". It has officially been confirmed that it will be released on May 25th. It's original date was supposed to be on Valentine's Day 2010.
I've been thinking about it and before I was pretty bothered with the fact that he was taking forever to release, but I'm glad actually. He knows when it's to separate himself from the mixtape craze. They're are so many artists recording albums in 2 months and they have nothing to give and no substance in their music. With Drake recording since August, I'm sure they'll be more to his music than a couple of Polow Tha Don beats and silly lyrics. I feel like albums should have a piece of your soul in it. The past 10 months of your life should be embedded in that disc.
After reading Drake's post i feel like it's safe to say there's been a lot going into this project. I thank him now.
